Welcome to the Berwick Neighbourhood Centre Community Garden. This garden is located off 27 Parkhill Drive in Berwick and can be found tucked in between the Neighbourhood Centre and the Timbarra Community Hall.
About
The Garden group encourages new-comers to the Centre and meets at the garden every Thursday from 9.30am – 11.30am to tend the garden and enjoy the outdoors.
Both individual and communal plots are available, which allows the avid gardener and the novice to enjoy gardening at their own pace. A new community seed library is also available for the community to save, share, and swap seeds.
Workshops are regularly held at the garden, covering topics such as soil importance and tips to prepare your soil for seasonal growing. These workshops are a great way to discuss your latest garden project or get some basic gardening advice.
The Berwick Neighbourhood House Community Garden is also planning for a monthly Saturday morning garden group.
