Welcome to the Hampton Park Community Garden.
Located at 1 Coral Drive Hampton Park, this all-access garden thrives on community spirit. Come and share cultural stories and gardening knowledge and experience with fellow locals and enjoy the health benefits of participating in the fun and productive outdoor activity of gardening.
About
Internal footpaths and raised garden beds ensures the garden is wheelchair friendly with both communal and individual gardening options available. Plots measuring 5 square meters are available to purchase for a small, six-monthly fee of $20 or $12 concession.
Members can also purchase a key for $5 which allows them unlimited access to the garden 7 days a week to enjoy growing fruit and vegetables. Any excess organic produce is utilised within the community kitchen.
Your contact person onsite is Diane. She is available at the centre on Thursdays between 10am – 2pm for questions, enquiries or your garden orientation. Please call ahead of time to ensure Diane will be available for your visit.
Use of the hothouse is available for members and members can choose to borrow gardening tools or are welcome to bring their own along.
Working bees and workshops are held regularly where members can learn how to get the best results for growing seasonal produce.
