Welcome to the Pakenham Library Discovery Garden. This innovative community initiative is located in Pakenham and is part of the library.
About
Drop in and visit the discovery garden at our Pakenham Library and find out everything you need to know about growing edible plants from home or out in the community. Depending on when you visit, you may get to help with planting, watering, pruning, or if you are super lucky you may just visit when it’s time to harvest! There is a children’s gardening group once per month and regular gardening workshops and events.
The discovery garden is available during library opening hours with small group tours (please call).
Free seed library!
Please note: The garden will not be open if there is heavy rain or extreme heat.
